Return and Refund Policy

At Kharif Stores, we take great care in packing and delivering our premium tea and rice. However, we understand that sometimes things may not go as planned. This Return & Refund Policy explains when and how we can help, in a clear and honest way.

1) Order Cancellation

We process orders quickly to ensure fresh delivery.

  • Orders can be cancelled within 2 hours of placing the order or before dispatch, whichever is earlier.
  • To cancel an order, please email us with your order number within the allowed time.

Important Note:

  • Prepaid orders are not eligible for a cash refund on cancellation.
  • If a prepaid order is cancelled on time, a store credit voucher of the same value will be issued.
  • Store credit can be used on future purchases and will be valid for 6 months.
  • Once an order is dispatched, cancellation or modification is not possible.

2) Return Policy (When Returns Are Accepted)

Due to the nature of food products, we accept returns only in specific situations.

You must inform us within 24 hours of delivery if:

  • You received a wrong product
  • You received a damaged or leaked package

To raise a return request:

  • Email us within 24 hours of delivery
  • Share your order number
  • Attach clear photos of the product and outer packaging

Return Conditions:

  • Product must be unused and unopened
  • Product must be in original packaging
  • Return request must be approved by our team after verification

We do not accept returns for:

  • Taste preference issues
  • Opened or used food items
  • Delayed requests beyond 24 hours

3) Return Window

  • Return requests must be raised within 24 hours of receiving the order.
  • Approved return products must reach us within 7 days from the date of delivery.

4) Refund Policy

Once the returned product is received and inspected:

  • If approved, refunds will be processed within 7–15 working days.
  • Refunds will be made to the original payment method.
  • In some cases, we may offer store credit instead of a cash refund, depending on product type and condition.

Refunds are applicable only when:

  • An incorrect product was delivered
  • The product was damaged during transit
  • A duplicate payment was made

5) Late or Missing Refunds

If you have not received your refund:

  • Please check your bank account again
  • Contact your bank or payment provider
  • If 15 days have passed, contact us for support

6) Sale or Discounted Products

  • Items purchased during sales or special discounts are not eligible for return or refund.
  • These products are sold at reduced prices and are considered final sale.

7) Exchanges

We do not offer open exchanges.

Replacement or exchange is allowed only if:

  • The product is damaged
  • The wrong item was delivered

In such cases, we may:

  • Replace the product, or
  • Issue store credit for future purchases

8) Return Shipping

  • Approved returns must be sent to the address shared by our support team.
  • Return shipping costs may be borne by the customer unless the issue occurred due to our error.
  • We are not responsible for products damaged during return shipping.

9) Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene and safety reasons, the following items cannot be returned:

  • Opened tea packets
  • Used or partially consumed rice
  • Products without original packaging

10) Legal Compliance

This policy follows Indian e-commerce guidelines and consumer protection rules. Kharif Stores reserves the right to refuse returns that do not meet the policy conditions.
